Affordable Prescription Assistance LLC (“APA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates an SMS (text message) communications program for independent contractors who work with us to promote and enroll clients in our prescription advocacy program. This page describes how our Agent SMS program works, how contractors opt in, what messages they may receive, and how they can opt out.
Our SMS program is directed to independent contractors who have signed our Independent Contractor Agreement and provided their mobile phone number as part of the onboarding process. We do not send marketing SMS messages to consumers, patients, or the general public through this program.
Independent contractors opt in to SMS communications by completing our digital Independent Contractor Agreement during the onboarding process. The Agreement is completed online through an electronic signature platform that records the contractor’s name, timestamp, IP address, and browser information as evidence of consent.
The Independent Contractor Agreement contains an express SMS consent clause titled “Consent to Communications.” By electronically signing the Agreement, the contractor provides prior express written consent to receive recurring SMS messages from APA at the mobile phone number provided.
The following clause appears in our Independent Contractor Agreement:
Consent to Communications. By providing a mobile phone number in this Agreement and accepting its terms, Contractor expressly consents to receive recurring text messages (SMS/MMS) from Affordable Prescription Assistance LLC and its representatives at the mobile number provided, including messages regarding training, commission and bonus announcements, program updates, promotional offers, and other communications related to Contractor’s work with the Company. Contractor understands that:
- Consent is not a condition of any agreement with the Company.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Message frequency varies.
- Contractor may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message, or reply HELP for assistance.
- Contractor agrees to the Company’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service available at www.affordableprescriptionassistance.com.
Contractors who opt in may receive text messages including:
Message frequency varies based on business needs and promotional schedules. Contractors may receive multiple messages per month.
Message and data rates may apply based on the contractor’s mobile carrier plan. APA is not responsible for any charges imposed by your mobile carrier.
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further SMS messages will be sent to your mobile number unless you re-enroll.
For help with SMS messages, reply HELP to any message from us. You can also contact us directly at:
Information provided as part of our SMS program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share contractor mobile phone numbers with third parties for their marketing purposes.
APA’s mobile messaging program is operated through A2P 10DLC registered services. Carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Use of our SMS communications program is also governed by our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
